- Ryan O'Bryant graduated with honors from Chester W. Nimitz High School in Houston, Texas where he starred in football and basketball.
- After graduation, he walked-on the Texas A&M University football team.
- He toiled on the scout team for 3 seasons until his junior season where he contributed on special teams and as a running back.
- With the injection of a new head coach, Mike Sherman, Ryan was able to be seen in a different light by his team.
- He was awarded an athletic scholarship his senior season, also he was voted as a team captain.
- Ryan also won the highest award given to a Texas A&M football player called the "Aggie Heart Award". This award was voted on by his teammates and it displays intangibles such as heart, determination, effort, desire, and leadership.
- Post graduation from A&M, Ryan received his masters degree from the University of San Francisco in Sport Management.
- Ryan has trained professionally for 11 years in general fitness, sports fitness, and speed and agility.
- Currently, Ryan leads the speed and agility program and the co-offensive coordinator/running back coach at Bryan Rudder High School football program
- Ryan resides in Bryan/College Station area with his wife and five children.
